Rev. George Hewit Lee was born in 1859 in Fairhaven, Conn. and died in 1951 in Portland,Oregon. He graduated from Hartford Theological Seminary in 1884. He came to Oregon that same year. He was an ordained minister for the Plymouth Congregational Church. He worked in Covallis from 1886 to 1888. After that he moved every two years all over the United States.
